ASSOCIATE ENVIRONMENTAL PROFESSIONAL EXAM
An Associate Environmental Professional, as defined by NREP, is a person who has two (2) years of education in a bachelor’s degree program, or equivalent three (3) years of work experience in the environmental field for each year of an academic degree program.The AEP is aimed at those persons beginning their careers, as well as those who may not possess a college degree.The AEP should have a basic or beginning knowledge level (high school) of earth science, chemistry, physics and mathematics.Additionally, the AEP should have a basic understanding of the purpose and intent of environmental laws and regulations.
Course Fee: $499 (includes workbook and exam fees)

CES - Certified Environmental Scientist Certification Course
The CES Certification is offered to individuals who are not engineers. The exam establishes a person's understanding of the basic principles of environmental sciences.
Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree in an environmentally related discipline . Three (3) years of acceptable work experience may be sustituted for each year of an academic degree program.
Work experience: Three (3) years directly related to an environmental science.
